At our company, we use multiple estimating methods according to your project scope. Our team first understands the project’s nature, defines the dimensions, highlights significant points, and then decides how to estimate certain building project budgets.
The two most common estimating methods that we prefer are Bottom-up and Top-down Estimation.
In the Bottom-up, we break down the whole project into small parts and determine the budget and duration required for each phase. In the end, the divided parts are combined to get the total duration and project cost.
However, Top-down involves first determining the total budget and timeline and then breaking the big piece into smaller portions according to the value and significance of construction activities.
Some other methods that we also prefer include:
- Unit Price Estimating
- Area & Volume Estimating
- Parametric Cost Estimating
- Assembly & System Estimating
